Wow, I haven't posted in forever!

The Smith family is alive and well, just not posting apparently. We have so much stuff to post, from Thanksgiving with Jim's family, to Christmas with my family, Ice Fishing - go figure, and Dylan's 5th birthday to name just a few. Audrey is now 8 months old and just keeps getting more fun, while Dylan is just a better brother every day. Jim got his Principal job at Eagleview and I got my final date for Intel, so we at least have some clarity on our future now.

We are off to DisneyWorld this weekend, so after that trip I will have a flurry of posts. And of course, March Madness is sweeping the house -so Rock Chalk Jayhawks - kick some butt!

I love Spring!

Baby Hair Barrettes!

Who knew a baby could need hair accessories at 4 months? Thanks to Nana for supplying Audrey with the world's tiniest real hair barrettes - no velcro or tape here. We have them in just about every shade in the rainbow - see here modeling red and green. And look at how blonde she's getting, too! Here she's sleeping but it gives you an idea of how much hair we are dealing with:

Happy Halloween!

We had one of the most glorious Halloween's on record here in Colorado - it was so warm and it usually snows! I got to attend Dylan's parade and party at school. Dylan inhaled the pumpkin pie at the party! Check out all the food they got!

Here is our neighbor Sandy with her daughter, Valerie, as a ballerina.

That night Sandy and I took Dylan and her son, Ryan, trick or treating, while the dad's stayed home with the girls and handed out candy. A good time was had by all....now if we can just survive all that candy!

Audrey's Elusive Curls

Nana just had to see Audrey's curls so we captured some pics of them after Little Bit's bath. Like her brother's hair, these curls don't last long due to her baby fine hair.

A few hours later she was back to straight - but she didn't seem to mind:

Halloween Here We Come!

We spent part of Sunday preparing our pumpkins for Halloween - can you guess which one Dylan did and which one Mommy did?

And here is today's little pumpkin - its a bit dark, but best I could get of the little squirmer!
Have a Happy Halloween!

Jim and His Fishing Buddies

One of the things Jim loves most about living here is the easy access to beautiful places and great fishing. Here are some pics of recent fishing trips, courtesy of our friend Chris Brandt. These are from Eleven Mile.

Here are Chris and Brandan showing off their catch after some night fishing at Cheesman Reservoir.

Don't you wish you were here?
